Ace Marketplace: Food, Fun & Talents on display

From cupcakes, waffles and momos to different mocktails, one of the biggest crowd-pullers at Ace Marketplace were the food stalls, which had been set up inside the premises of Ace Institute of Management.

A two day pre-event organized by the students of Ace Institute of Management related to the main event “The Ardent 2023”, a national level management fest.

Bajaj two-wheeler test rides were available on the outer premises, along with offers from Ncell and Citizens Bank. However, Mr. Steve stole the show. Mr. Steve, a Pinata lookalike who assists in the activities later in the day, was inspired by video games from the 1990s. 2PM spicy noodles challenge, pushup challenge and the classic rock-paper-scissors were some of the other games demonstrated at the fair.

The event saw a wave of students waiting at the food stalls of Dalle, Sugar Frenzy, 2Bhai Kimbab, Cocina Mitho Chha, Belgian Waffles, Cakes Station, Boba and Bream, Fati’s, Colombus and many more. Also, there were eye-catching product stalls by Manai Dekhi displaying scented candles, Pretty Little Things showcasing cute accessories, and Trucare Pharmacy with their beauty and wellness items.

At the very heart was the confession sessions. A confession box was set in place from early morning, where anyone can write a secret letter to their loved ones anonymously. Later, these confetti were read out loud. The performances by the Ace students added to more charm to the event. From music to dancing, and poems to shayari, the youngsters certainly had it all. A loud, joyful crowd followed, displaying happiness, affections and friendships among one another.

“The marketplace showcased products of the sponsors for The Ardent 2023, which is a first. The team managed to pull something great, and took Ardent to another level”, said Akshita Gurung, one of the organizers.

An associate of Sugar Frenzy said, “The response at the stall has been better than I anticipated, and sales have been good.”
