Black-and-White version of “Radha” movie screening at NIFF

The Black and White version of the “Radha” movie will be screened at the Nepal International Film Festival (NIFF). Radha is a 2022 Nepalese social drama film about a young pregnant woman from a village in Nepal who sets out on a mission to find her husband, a migrant worker in Doha who has gone missing. Yet, she discovers an exciting web of lies, deception, and fraud behind his disappearance and of many others instead. This movie was directed by Subarna Thapa with a producer of Saugat Malla, Devaki Bista, and Bikram Das Joshi. The film features Shristi Shrestha, Khagendra Lamichhane, Menuka Pradhan, Divya Dev, Lokendra Lekhak, Buddhi Tamang, Pashupati Rai, Nischal Basnet, Dayahang Rai, Saugat Malla, and more artist.

Due to inadequate screenings, the film was pulled from cinemas two days after its initial release. Because of this, the bulk of the audience was unable to view this movie, although the critics gave it high ratings. According to Director Thapa the “Director’s Cut” version of the film that has already been screened will be displayed at the festival. The black and white version is 1 hour 35 minutes long, as compared to a 1 hour 50 minutes theatrical release.
This film will be screened at the QFX multiplex on the Civil Mall next Saturday. The film ‘Chari’ (uncompetitive) directed by Kerin Sharma. The opening of the film will be screened at QFX Civic Mall tomorrow at the NIFF opening ceremony.
