The Journey of Anu Anmol Jung Chhetri
Anu Anmol Chettri is a model, born and raised in the beautiful city Butwal. She is 22 years old Pursuing her bachelor degree in business and law, From the university of United Kingdom. She is a fashion model and right activist who speaks about the rights of LGBTIQ community. She is a confident and motivated person who dreams not too big but wants to be the best version of herself. Highly passionate about the fashion industry, she is the first trans woman who was selected as the top 10 finalists of Miss universe Nepal 2022. Her journey was always to motivate people and make changes in society. Even after numerous bullying, and many haters all around her way she didn’t give up and continued her journey to educate and motivate people.
Fashion, glamor was really a new career choice for her. At the age of 17 she joined the fashion company (RNs style ) Butwal, the most renowned fashion brand at that time. She worked hard to create new ideas , space for the future models. Organizing many events and collaborating with many brands she got the opportunity to shine in the fashion industry. After some time she got offers from different cities to collaborate and work with them as fashion choreographer which made her more confident and helped her to become involved in the industry. She was well paid from the organization and brand collaboration.
After 3 years of hard work, she got the chance to perform at the Miss universe stage. She was really surprised and happy about her success and demand in the fashion industry. She was extremely busy with her work schedule and had already decided to work for some years and now she is giving time to herself and for her academic career.
Modeling or fashion was not her first choice but every achievement and opportunity she got made her feel like she was born to do something special for the people in this field. She aims to work with international brands and be the national director of the pageant in Nepal.
Other than the fashion industry she also works with various NGOs and INGOs. She also worked with UN members for the rights of LGBTIQ. She really wants to see peace and respect for her community in any sector, no matter what gender they are.
Fashion industry has both negative and positive impacts, you just focus on your hard work, make a plan and go through it. Just be yourself. Practice and learn new things and make yourself strong and patient.
