Japanese Cooking Classes At Marriott
The Kathmandu Marriott and Fairfield by Marriott Kathmandu are hosting a Japanese cooking class with Kyohei San from Japan. All Japanese food enthusiasts can have a great opportunity to network and learn authentic Japanese recipes and cooking techniques.
Japanese cuisines are renowned globally and have a strong hold on the hearts of people all over the world. Whether it be Miso Cucumber, Yasai Curry, Sushi, or more, every dish here has its taste and flavor to cherish.
Sweet, sour, salty, bitter, umami, and kokumi are the six basic tastes in Japanese culinary culture.
Every dish needs to be prepared with a balance of the right taste that comes with the right ingredients and precise cooking methods.
During the cooking class, Kyohei San will share the Japanese culture and the basics of cooking at home, which will enlighten your knowledge and advance your Japanese dish cooking at home. He’ll also explain umami, which is one of the six basic tastes that has been described as savory and is characteristic of broths and cooked meats.
