Nepal into Finals of Vianet International Women’s Championship 2025

Nepal has entered the finals of Vianet International Women’s Championship 2025. The match is scheduled to be held on February 23 and Nepal will be playing against Myanmar.
Myanmar secured their spot in the finals with a 5-0 win against Kyrgyzstan. Nepal triumphed over Lebanon by 1-0. Both countries have booked the spot by clinching their consecutive victories.

The match between Nepal and Lebanon on Thursday was intense as it reminded the audience of the previous match in the semi-finals of the 8th WAFF Women’s Championship in Saudi Arabia in February 2024. Nepal has defeated Lebanon by 2-1 scoreline then as well. The only goal of the movie was scored by Sabitra Bhandari in the 42nd minute. Bhandari who is popularly known as “Samba” earned the Player of the Match recognition, further solidifying her reputation as Nepal’s all-time top scorer.

Dasharath Stadium is now all set for an exhilarating final between Nepal and Myanmar. Both teams have showcased exceptional talent, strategy, and determination throughout the tournament.
