This Chinese noodle soup is light and colourful. It is a vibrant soup with green vegetables and bak choi, which have been chopped. The noodles and thinly sliced pork are the stars of this bowl. Star anise, boiled egg, cinnamon and black mushroom are also added to it. It has a smooth texture and the pork melts into your mouth culminating into a heart warming slurp, complimenting the cold weather of Kathmandu as of now.

A must-try dish at the clubhouse is the chicken dumpling. Served in a bamboo steamer for it to remain hot, you cannot help but devour it. It has a thin wrap, which gives you more taste of the chicken filling inside it. The sesame oil and minced chicken itself is so juicy and dipping it in the chilli oil makes it heavenly.

Chinese BBQ Pork Ribs

The presentation of this dish itself is fantastic. Served on top of green leaves and pork ribs sprinkled with sesame seeds, it looks appetising.  Those richly seasoned and perfectly roasted pork ribs have a distinctive taste and are juicy and tender. The marbling after taste leaves you wanting for more.

Cheung Fun Noodles

The very noodles used in this dish are made of rice, due to which it is slightly sweet. The flat noodles look vibrant with all the colours of the ingredients used. It contains chicken, eggs, black mushrooms, bamboo shoot, carrots and many more, which makes it a filling yet healthier option. Also, it is lighter than noodles made of wheat flour giving it a more delicate flavor.

Baby Potato Kung Pao

The star of the dish is definitely the baby potatoes. This dish has a lot of ingredients in it. It is saucy and topped with loads of cashews. The sauce is salty yet a bit spicy too, giving it a perfect balance of flavours. The bell peppers and onions topped with the taste of crunchy cashews makes it a perfect bite. While it is a delight to vegetarians, it surely will please the meat lovers too.

‘We celebrate the Chinese New Year every year and introduce new dishes to our menu. This year too we have added special Chinese dishes to our menu.’, Raj Kumar Gurung, chef at Gokarna Forest Resort stated.
