The public release of the video for the remake of the timeless super hit song “Timro Manma Lukeko Kura” has stirred excitement and nostalgia among music enthusiasts. Originally featured in the film ‘Chino,’ released 33 years ago, this classic has been revitalized with a fresh rendition featuring the voices of Shankar Shrestha and Annu Chaudhary.

The public unveiling of the video took place during an event in the capital city of Kathmandu. The original rendition of “Timro Manma Lukeko Kura” was sung by Narayan Gopal and Asha Bhosle, with music composed by Ranjit Gazmer and lyrics by Kusum Gazmer. In this remake, Shankar Shrestha and Annu Chaudhary take center stage, breathing new life into the beloved melody.

The music video unveiling saw the presence of key figures involved in the song’s recreation, including music composer Ranjit Gazmer, actress Sharmila Mall, actress Gauri Mall, producer Mohan Saraf, and others. Directed by Santosh Rajbhandari, the video features stellar performances by actors Bhuwan K.C., Sharmila Mall, Surbir Pandit, Shishir Bhandari, Shankar Shrestha, and Ashwini Shah.

Divided into two parts, the video for “Timro Manma Lukeko Kura” has been meticulously crafted, showcasing a love story intertwined with the themes of love, passion, and relationships. Cinematographer Gyanendra Sharma Humaagai and editor Dinesh Shah played pivotal roles in shaping the visual narrative, highlighting the essence of the song’s emotions.

The event also marked the official announcement of the social web series “Photo Phiraima,” created and produced by Shishir Bhandari with direction by Santosh Rajbhandari. This series is set to captivate audiences with its engaging storyline and artistic direction.

During the video launch, music composer Ranjit Gazmer shared his memories of recording the original song in Mumbai 33 years ago. He expressed his admiration for the justice done to the song by Shankar Shrestha and Annu Chaudhary, stating that their rendition would undoubtedly resonate with audiences, much like the original did.

The video, available on Shishir Bhandari’s official channel, marks a collaborative effort that pays homage to the iconic track while introducing its beauty to a new generation of music enthusiasts.
