Kathmandu, March 9, 2025 – Aloft Kathmandu Thamel successfully celebrated International Women’s Day 2025 on March 9 at the Aloft Hotel & Chhaya Center Courtyard. The event brought together women entrepreneurs, community organizations, and families. Under the theme #AccelerateAction, the event highlighted  the importance of advancing gender equality through actions in areas of menstrual health awareness, entrepreneurial empowerment, and fostering an inclusive community.

Aloft Kathmandu Thamel welcomed beneficiaries from Amma Ghar, Pabitra Samaj Sewa, and Orphan and Helpless Children Development Society. They were offered a space for joy, support, and recognition. The main highlight of the day was a Menstrual Hygiene Workshop where all the participants were equipped with essential knowledge about women’s health. Meanwhile, the Women Entrepreneurs Market provided a vibrant platform for local women-led businesses to showcase their products and engage with the community.
