Nepali cinema is gearing up for one of its most anticipated festive releases as Batulo Jun, starring Anmol KC, is officially set for a Bada Dashain 2083 theatrical release on October 16. Positioned in the country’s biggest box office window, the film is already building strong pre-release buzz following its first look reveal.

Produced under Sunrise Pictures Pvt. Ltd. by Jiya KC and Bhabishya Khadka, the film presents a rural love story that blends nostalgia with present-day emotional layers. The makers describe it as a journey that transports audiences into Nepal’s past while still reflecting contemporary reality.

Directed by Bhuwan KC, the film features a large ensemble cast, including Princy Khatiwada, Nancy Khadka, Prakash Ghimire, and others. Princy Khatiwada stars opposite Anmol KC, introducing a fresh on-screen pairing that has already sparked curiosity.

Shot across Kathmandu, Myagdi, Nuwakot, Chitlang, and Pokhara, the film is in its final production phase, with only around 10% of shooting remaining.

With its festive release timing, star power, and visually poetic first look, Batulo Jun is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about Nepali films of 2083.
