Located around 32 km from Kathmandu, Lauke Jharana is a hidden gem in Nuwakot. The journey takes about 1.5 hours by vehicle, with roughly 15 minutes of off-road travel. It features two waterfalls: the main one and a smaller, less crowded one, “Thulo & Sano Chahare”. Ideal for a short, peaceful day trip

2. Bhange Jharana (Mailung), Rasuwa

Situated in the Rasuwa District, about 74 km from Kathmandu, Bhange Jharana is a scenic spot that requires about 3 hours of driving followed by a 45-minute uphill hike. Expect 20-25 minutes of off-road driving. The view from the top is worth the effort, especially if you start early.

3. Mohini Jharana, Markhu (Makwanpur)

The hike begins from Kafal Danda after reaching Namobuddha via Dhulikhel. The downhill trail is scenic and worth every step.

Simba Falls is a series of five waterfalls nestled in the Manikhel area of Lalitpur. The site sits at around 2000 meters above sea level and is known for its cool, refreshing climate. It requires a drive of 2-4 hours followed by a 45-60 minute hike through Tamang villages and forest trails.
