Bartika Eam Rai Concludes 2025 with Sold-Out “Ityaadi” Full Band Tour in Kathmandu and Pokhara

As 2025 came to a close, Nepali singer-songwriter Bartika Eam Rai marked a defining moment in her career with the successful conclusion of her “Ityaadi” Full Band Tour, delivering back-to-back sold-out performances in Kathmandu and Pokhara.

Held on December 26 at Club Nova, Kathmandu, and December 27 at Club Catwalk, Pokhara, the two-city concert series showcased Rai in a dynamic full-band format: an evolution from her traditionally intimate performances. The tour served as both a celebration of her musical journey and a powerful closing chapter to a prolific year.

Demand for the concerts was unprecedented. Early bird tickets for the Kathmandu show sold out within 15 minutes, signaling strong anticipation among fans. The final attendance figures reflected the scale of the response, with 2,200 attendees filling Club Nova in Kathmandu and over 1,200 fans packing Club Catwalk in Pokhara, both venues reaching full capacity.

The “Ityaadi” series introduced a richer sonic palette, transforming Rai’s indie-folk roots into a layered, art-pop live experience. She was joined on stage by an accomplished lineup of musicians including Diwas Gurung (Guitar/Producer), Yugal Gurung (Drums), Sahil Uprety (Bass), Abhishek Rai Lama (Keyboard), Sahil Dware (Flute), Aniket Gyawali (Aarush) and Kunzani Maharjan (Harmonies). Together, the ensemble reimagined tracks from her 2024 album Aandhii, Ityaadi while revitalizing fan favorites from earlier projects such as Bimbaakash and Taral.

Reflecting on the tour, Rai shared that performing with a full band in both cities was “the most fulfilling way to end the year,” crediting the audience’s energy and her bandmates for making the shows memorable.

Managed by kGarira and artist manager Nirnit Tandukar and Nischal Bajracharya, the tour was executed in collaboration with industry partners including KTM LIVE, Momo Entertainment, and YNWA.

Since her debut in 2016, Bartika Eam Rai has remained a defining voice in Nepal’s contemporary independent music scene. By merging her lyrical depth with a high-energy live band experience, the “Ityaadi” tour has further cemented her position as one of the region’s most influential musical artists.

As 2026 begins, the success of the “Ityaadi” Full Band Tour sets a new benchmark for live music performances in Nepal, leaving audiences eager for what the “Aasha (II)” singer will explore next.
