East Nepal’s pride, Chumbak, gears up for a rock & roll spectacle this December!

Originating from Itahari, Chumbak has been making waves in Nepal’s alternative rock scene with their electrifying sound and relentless energy. Known for blending edgy riffs with powerful vocals, the band has steadily carved a niche for themselves in the Nepali music landscape.

Chumbak Fest – Album Launch Extravaganza

The album launch will take place at Club XO on December 20, 2025, in an event titled Chumbak Fest. The night will feature four original alternative rock acts: HYU, 5150, Oiii, and Grunchiez, all leading up to the main performance by Chumbak. Fans can expect a night of pulsating rock vibes, immersive performances, and an unforgettable live experience.

Touring Plans & Beyond

Post-launch, Chumbak is ready to take their music across Nepal, starting with West Nepal before returning to East Nepal. Talks are already underway for cross-border shows in Darjeeling, Sikkim, and Kurseong. With international tours and festival appearances on the horizon for 2026, the band is gearing up to bring Nepali rock to a global stage.
