“Kata Chhau Mero Phool” First Song from Dinesh Raut’s Romance Film “Kumari” has Been Released
The upcoming Nepali romance drama “Kumari” has officially unveiled the film’s first track, titled “Kata Chhau Mero Phool”, and it is already making waves across digital platforms. Performed live by Kehar Sing Limbu and his band Kehar & The Lunga during the film’s grand announcement event at Tudikhel, Kathmandu, the track was released on YouTube and has rapidly gained momentum among younger audiences. Described as a tender and emotionally resonant love song, “Kata Chhau Mero Phool” sets a romantic tone for Kumari.
Kumari introduces a fresh on-screen pair: debut leads Abhishek Khadka and Aakriti Rajbhandari, whose pairing has sparked curiosity since the film was first announced. Supporting cast includes several established and emerging artists.
Behind the camera, Kumari is shepherded by veteran filmmaker Dinesh Raut, who returns to romantic storytelling after exploring more socially conscious themes in recent projects. The film’s music including “Kata Chhau Mero Phool” is composed by Limbu alongside collaborators, with lyrics by a team of contemporary Nepali lyricists.
The production team has indicated that shooting is already underway or nearing midway, and the film is slated for release on February 6, 2026, before Valentine’s Day, likely aiming to draw audiences seeking romantic stories.
With its evocative music and promising cast, Kumari is rapidly positioning itself as one of this season’s most anticipated Nepali love stories. If the response to “Kata Chhau Mero Phool” is any indication, this film might well strike a chord with young audiences craving heart-felt romance on the big screen.
