Food Expo PRO and Hong Kong International Tea Fair Return This August
HONG KONG SAR, 27 June 2025 -The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will once again bring together global food and beverage leaders at the Food Expo PRO and Hong Kong International Tea Fair, returning to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 14 to 16 August 2025. As a premier sourcing platform, the fairs will showcase the latest in global cuisine, tea culture, food science, and beverage trends.
The events will coincide with three major public exhibitions—Food Expo, Beauty & Wellness Expo and Home Delights Expo running through 18 August, and together are expected to attract around 2,000 exhibitors from across the world.
Key highlights include:
International Pavilions: Featuring exhibitors from Mainland China, Japan, Korea, Poland and ASEAN nations including Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
Food Science and Technology Zone: A showcase of future foods, food-tech, and sustainable packaging innovations, led by the Hong Kong Food Science and Technology Association.
Halal Certified Products: Around 100 exhibitors presenting a diverse range of Halal-certified offerings. Educational sessions will explore Hong Kong’s growing Halal market, with participation from Kowloon Shangri-La Hotel and local Islamic organizations.
New Coffee Zone: A debut feature highlighting global coffee bean exporters, brewing tools, and live coffee demos. Seminars will examine trends and opportunities in the growing coffee industry across Asia.
Food Tech Symposium: Focused on clean-label product trends, non-additive food innovation, and opportunities within the Greater Bay Area.
The Expo is open exclusively to trade buyers on 14–15 August, and opens to the general public on 16 August.
Hong Kong International Tea Fair: A Global Celebration of Tea Culture
Running alongside Food Expo PRO, the Hong Kong International Tea Fair welcomes both trade and public visitors across all three days. From premium tea products to cultural experiences, the fair provides a platform to discover, connect, and do business.
Fair highlights include:
International Tea Event Space Design Competition: Featuring creative tea-serving space concepts, with winning entries showcased during the fair.
Hong Kong International Tea Competition: Teas will be judged across six categories with awards for Best Aroma and Best Taste. Public tea tasting of award-winning teas will be held on 17 August.

Hong Kong Milk Tea KamCha Competition – Final Round – showcasing the best of Hong Kong-style milk tea craftsmanship
Youth Tea Art Competition, live Tea Art Performances, and Tea Tasting Sessions
Extended Engagement with HKTDC EXHIBITION+
Both fairs will leverage HKTDC’s EXHIBITION+ hybrid model, combining physical networking with digital business matchmaking via Click2Match, available from 7 to 23 August. This ensures connections and deal-making opportunities continue beyond the exhibition hall.
Additionally, the International Conference of the Modernization of Chinese Medicine and Health Products (ICMCM) will be held on 14–15 August, bringing together global experts in traditional Chinese medicine to share the latest research and market insights.
