How to Preserve Your Flower Bouquet?

Flowers are a great memento of your special days. Here are some of the ways you can preserve it for the long run.

Air drying:

Air drying a bouquet is among the simplest methods to keep it fresh. The stems should be gathered and fastened with rubber bands or twine. The bouquet should be hung upside-down in a dry, enclosed space, like a pantry or closet. Wait a few weeks for the blossoms to totally dry out before allowing it to dry.

Pressing:

Pressing the flowers is another method for preserving a bouquet. Put the flowers between two sheets of absorbent paper, such tissue or blotting paper. The flowers should be totally dry after several days. So, place a heavy object, like a book, on top of the paper and flowers.

Silica gel:

Silica gel can be used to swiftly and effectively dry flowers. The flowers should be arranged on top of a layer of silica gel that has been poured into a container. More silica gel should be used to completely cover the flowers before sealing the container. Till the flowers are entirely dried, let it sit for a few days.

Spray preservation:

Another option for preserving your bouquet is to use a spray preservation treatment. Chemicals in these preparations aid in maintaining the blooms’ original colour and shape. Make sure to apply the spray in a well-ventilated area and carefully follow the instructions on the product’s label.
