Inside T’s Armoire: Deeya Yonjan Tamang’s Vision for Fashion

In a fashion landscape often driven by fast trends, Deeya Yonjan Tamang is building something slower, quieter, and far more intentional. The founder of T’s Armoire, Deeya has carved a distinct space in Nepal’s contemporary fashion scene with designs that feel timeless, thoughtful, and empowering. Rooted in authenticity and refined minimalism, the brand reflects her belief that clothing should elevate confidence while remaining deeply personal.

Born from Deeya’s love for fashion and creativity, T’s Armoire is less about statement dressing and more about quiet strength. Each piece champions individuality, encouraging wearers to feel composed, confident, and comfortable in their own skin.

“The very first design I ever created was a faux fur coat, which quietly marked the beginning of my journey.” she shared ” But the moment that truly made me feel, “this is the start of something special,” was our Fall/Winter 2021 collection. It was an incredibly meaningful milestone.”

Her collection included a PU leather long trench coat, puffer jackets, accessories, and a classic trench, the collection demanded technical precision and high craftsmanship. Several factories initially hesitated due to the complexity involved.

Seeing the collection come together exactly as envisioned reaffirmed Deeya’s confidence in her creative direction and in the brand’s future.

For Deeya, fashion is never just about clothing. It is an expression of emotion, lifestyle, and identity. She shared “I want T’s Armoire designs to make people feel confident and intentional. Whether it’s everyday wear or activewear, the goal is to inspire a lifestyle of discipline, purpose, and quiet strength, so the clothes don’t just look good, they make you feel good too.”

Her designs are meant to integrate seamlessly into daily life while still feeling elevated.

Deeya’s creative influences are drawn from unexpected places like architecture, art, everyday objects, and personal reflection. One of her most surprising inspirations came from observing confidence and refined style in others, prompting her to introduce softer, more feminine silhouettes than originally planned. These subtle shifts have helped her to shape the brand’s evolving aesthetic.

Among all her creations, one piece holds special emotional value: a long faux-suede coat from the Fall/Winter 2024 Countryside Collection. Inspired by her grandfather and his love for horses and his long rides to visit her made this coat collection carry deep personal meaning. She shared, “When I wear it, I feel as if I’m carrying a piece of his story with me.”

At T’s Armoire, winter fashion is about making a statement without sacrificing practicality. Timeless silhouettes, premium fabrics, and layering-friendly designs define the brand’s approach. For Deeya fashion should make you feel confident and comfortable, even in the colder months.

“Seeing T’s Armoire grow and step into a new space feels incredibly rewarding. It reflects our team’s hard work and dedication and motivates us to keep creating quality, thoughtful, and meaningful experiences for our community.” Deeya shared.
