What inspired you to become a model?

From a young age, my fascination with fashion TV and early exposure to social media introduced me to the world of modeling. Witnessing fellow Nepalese models excel in their endeavors ignited my passion. Their incredible achievements and my innate interest in the field inspired me to pursue a modeling career wholeheartedly.

What sets you apart from other models?

My unique trait as a model is my strong introverted nature. Initiating conversations and forming friendships can be challenging for me. Despite this, I believe my distinct perspective brings a fresh depth to my work, enabling me to connect authentically and contribute a different dimension to the modeling industry.

Can you describe a particularly memorable modeling experience you’ve had?

An unforgettable modeling experience was my debut magazine cover shoot as a newcomer. The opportunity to grace the cover, despite being a fresher, remains a cherished highlight. The entire process was an exhilarating blend of learning, creativity, and realization, solidifying my passion for modeling and motivating me to continually strive for excellence.

What is your dream modeling job?

My dream modeling aspiration is to see myself prominently displayed on billboards, both domestically and across the globe. The idea of my image gracing these iconic platforms resonates deeply with my ambitions. It signifies not only professional achievement but also a testament to the dedication and passion I pour into my modeling career.

What do you think is the most challenging aspect of being a model?

Undoubtedly, the modeling lifestyle presents its challenges, with disrupted sleep schedules topping the list. Late-night shoots and events often leave little time for rest, affecting both my appearance and overall well-being. The struggle to maintain adequate sleep, coupled with the toll on my skin from constant exposure, emerges as the most demanding facet of my modeling journey.

Can you describe your typical day as a model?

My typical day as a model varies. On days I wake at 5 a.m., I hit the gym by 6, then proceed to freshen up and engage in reading and affirmation writing alongside breakfast. Subsequently, skincare takes priority, followed by multitasking: preparing lunch and dinner, managing shoot schedules, meetings, emails, inquiries, and content creation. This dynamic routine reflects the diverse demands that define my life in the modeling realm.

How do you handle the competitiveness in the modeling industry?

Navigating the competitiveness of the modeling industry, I focus on essential tasks, prioritizing both physical and mental well-being. I dedicate myself to the necessary work, ensuring I remain capable on all fronts. This approach empowers me to tackle challenges head-on, maintain my edge, and thrive in a demanding and competitive environment.

What do you think is the future of the modeling industry?

In Nepal, progress in the modeling industry is gradual. Emerging trends encompass futuristic fashion, Y2K aesthetics, and gothic styles. Simultaneously, timeless classic looks are resurging. This eclectic blend signals the industry’s evolving direction, where a fusion of avant-garde and traditional styles coexist, shaping an exciting and diverse future for modeling in Nepal.

What do you think is the key to a successful modeling career?

The crux of a successful modeling career lies in unwavering discipline and consistency. Prioritizing physical, mental, and spiritual well-being ensures a strong foundation. Equally vital is expanding connections and networking over time. This dual approach—nurturing oneself comprehensively while fostering a wide-reaching network—forms the key to achieving longevity and accomplishment in the dynamic realm of modeling.
