SANTÉO PARIS: Nepal Meets Paris Elegance

Santeo Paris

SANTÉO PARIS is an emerging fashion brand founded by Sushant, alongside two close collaborators and co-founders, Samana and Pramin; three visionary Nepali designers who have blended their rich cultural roots with the refined style of Paris. SANTÉO PARIS reflects not just a love for fashion, but a deeper philosophy: the design becomes storytelling, and clothing becomes a bridge between cultures.

The name SANTÉO reflects a meaningful fusion of worlds. “Sant” derives from both the founder’s name and the Nepali-Sanskrit word for saint, representing purity, peace, and serenity. The suffix “éo” pays homage to Paris, a poetic nod to the city that inspires the brand’s creativity. This unique blend embodies the spiritual heritage of Nepal alongside the elegance of one of the world’s fashion capitals.

For these Nepali fashion students, launching a label in Paris was not just a dream but a natural progression. Surrounded by Nepal’s deep traditions and natural beauty, they sought to express their identity through fashion rather than soften it. Studying in Paris provided them with the perfect canvas to create a language of design that honors both their heritage and modern fashion sensibilities.

Starting a fashion label in a foreign country comes with considerable challenges, from building networks and navigating the industry to sourcing ethical, small-scale production. The founders of SANTÉO PARIS faced these hurdles head-on, relying on the strength of their concept and the authenticity of their designs. This clarity and honesty in design became their compass, guiding the brand through unfamiliar terrain.

“We didn’t have a big budget, but we had a clear soul.”

SANTÉO PARIS embraces a design philosophy based on duality: softness paired with structure, stillness with movement, and heritage alongside refinement. Their minimalist silhouettes incorporate meaningful details, with a palette focused on neutrals such as black, white, beige, and blue, conveying clarity and restraint. The brand prioritizes responsibility by using bio-based materials and luxury deadstock fabrics, ensuring that every garment carries intentional craftsmanship and emotional weight.

“SANTÉO is where refined streetwear becomes emotional – a balance of clean form, spiritual weight, and craftsmanship.”

Their debut street fashion show, The Fifth Peak, marked a significant milestone. Featuring an internationally diverse cast and an open-air setting, the show was more than a presentation; it was a ritual that communicated themes of presence, identity, and elevation. It translated the quiet confidence of the Himalayas into the dynamic rhythm of Parisian streets, introducing SANTÉO PARIS to a global audience.

SANTÉO PARIS dissolves traditional boundaries between Eastern and Western fashion influences. While Western tailoring and urban aesthetics shape their cuts, the brand’s philosophy and symbolism are deeply Nepali. This seamless blend creates unique streetwear that honors cultural expression and global relevance simultaneously.

“SANTÉO doesn’t try to separate East and West – it dissolves the line between them.”

Building on the momentum of their debut collection, SANTÉO PARIS is preparing its next chapter. Plans include expanding their online presence and crafting immersive storytelling presentations. Ultimately, the brand aims to represent not only clothing but a deeper philosophy of conscious design and cultural expression – rooted in tradition yet free in spirit.

As SANTÉO PARIS gears up for the launch of its official website, an upcoming photoshoot will play a crucial role in defining the brand’s visual identity online. This photoshoot will showcase key pieces from The Fifth Peak collection, offering a compelling glimpse into the label’s aesthetic and vision. Although the date for the photoshoot has yet to be confirmed, SANTÉO PARIS’s previous fashion show and photoshoots provide insight into their style and ethos.
