Spotlight on the Conference of Hebei Tourism Industry Development | Handan Branch
The Handan branch of the 9th Conference of Hebei Tourism Industry Development, held together with the 8th Conference of Handan Tourism Industry Development, took place on September 12–13 in Wu’an and Linzhang. The event positioned Handan as a must-visit destination where the Taihang Mountains meet the city’s historic cultural heritage.
Wu’an City introduced the East Taihang Hundred-Mile Gallery, a 116-kilometer scenic tourism route. Travelers can explore dramatic elevation changes, lush secondary forests, and panoramic views across 500 square kilometers of the eastern Taihang Mountains. Stops like the “Guifei Nao” rest area along Baiyun Avenue offered perfect photo opportunities for nature lovers.
In Linzhang County, the spotlight was on Yecheng culture. Attractions like the “Yecheng Cultural Experience” and “Yecheng Nighttime Performances” brought history to life with live theater, light shows, and cultural districts. The Yecheng Museum also drew interest, giving visitors deeper insight into the city’s storied past.
With the theme “So Close, So Beautiful, Spend Your Weekends in Hebei,” the conference featured 20 activities, from Taihang Mountain adventures to rare opera performances and cultural exchange forums. These experiences highlighted Handan’s rich blend of natural landscapes, idiom culture, and Northern Dynasties heritage—making it an emerging hotspot for both domestic and international travelers seeking culture, history, and adventure in Hebei, China.
