Renowned Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi and his family arrived in Kathmandu, Nepal, on December 14 for a weeklong retreat.
Oberoi appeared at Tribhuvan airport wearing a Nepali dhaka topi and holding a Nepali flag, embracing Nepalese culture.
In contrast to his parents, who had visited Nepal frequently, he said that he had never been to Nepal before. He is looking forward to exploring Pokhara, Lumbini, Pashupatinath Temple, and many other sites in Nepal during his recent visit.
During his brief interaction with the media on December 14, Vivek Oberoi said that he is in Nepal with his family as he wants his children to explore Nepal and its unique attributes.
He further added that his urge to visit Nepal was further strengthened by the fact that Nepal and India have historical and cultural ties.
