Carrying Nepal to Colombo

Nepal is set for another moment on the international stage as Shashank Shahi, winner of Manhunt International Nepal 2026, departs to represent the country at the 24th edition of Manhunt International, taking place in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from September 3 to September 9, 2026. The competition will bring together representatives from more than 36 countries, offering Shahi a global platform to showcase personality, confidence, talent, and national identity.

The Road to the Crown

Shahi’s journey began on May 16, 2026, when he was crowned the winner among 14 contestants at the Manhunt International Nepal finale, held at Alice Receptions, Gairidhara, Kathmandu. The win set off months of intensive preparation, training, and professional grooming as he readied himself to meet international competition standards.

Behind the Preparation

Shahi’s international journey has been managed by the Group of Event Entertainers (GEE), organizers of Manhunt International Nepal, with training and mentorship led by Ajay Gurung to sharpen his readiness for the global stage.

A Wardrobe Rooted in Nepali Craftsmanship

For Colombo, Shahi’s international wardrobe has been curated by designer Sonam Subba Limbu, with formal suits provided by Empire Collection. His national and designer attires were created by Nepali designers Sarita Thapa Magar and Sharon Couture a collaboration that blends creativity, craftsmanship, and Nepal’s evolving fashion identity for the international runway.

As Shahi departs for Sri Lanka, the entire Manhunt International Nepal team has extended its support, wishing him a journey that inspires confidence and brings pride to Nepal on the global stage.
