Jessica Singh Thakuri has officially announced her resignation as Miss Grand Nepal (Miss Vibhaa) 2025, citing mistreatment, sustained pressure, and serious concerns over her mental and physical well-being during her reign.
In a public statement shared on social media, Jessica described the decision as one made with “deep pain but also deep clarity,” emphasizing that stepping down was necessary to protect her dignity, values, and self-respect. While she called becoming a titleholder one of the proudest moments of her life, she revealed that her experience with the national organization was “the most difficult and heartbreaking chapter” of her journey.
According to her statement, Jessica faced mistreatment and threats during her international participation, alongside continuous mental pressure that significantly affected her health. She said she endured the situation in silence for a long time, hoping conditions would improve, but ultimately concluded that “no crown is worth losing your peace, your health, or your sense of self.”
She also expressed gratitude for the support she received on the international platform and thanked those who believed in her throughout her journey. Jessica confirmed that she plans to release a detailed video in the coming days, where she will share her full experience and the reasons behind her resignation.
