From the Himalayas to Dhaka: Le Sherpa Brings Nepal’s Culinary Story to Bangladesh, July 2026
For one evening, the flavors of theHimalayasfound a new home in Dhaka. On June 26, 2026, Le Sherpa Restaurant joined forces with MANZO Restaurant for an exclusive collaborative dinner that celebrated Nepal’s vibrant culinary heritage and the connections food can create across borders.
A Partnership Across Borders
The event marked the next chapter of a partnership that began in 2025, when MANZO brought its cuisine to Le Sherpa in Kathmandu. This time, the journey was reversed, introducing Bangladeshi diners to a thoughtful interpretation of Nepal’s diverse food culture. Chef Krishna Subedi ofLe Sherpaworked alongside Chef Zohra Mahila and the MANZO culinary team to present a menu rooted in Nepal’s landscapes, traditions, and producers.

The menu traveled from themountainsto the valleys, featuring Jiri rainbow trout, sea buckthorn, wild morel mushrooms, and wild mountain goat from Mustang, alongside cherished classics including bara, juju dhau, momo, and Kathmandu’s iconic pustakari. Every ingredient reflected Le Sherpa’s commitment to sustainability, local sourcing, and the people behind Nepal’s food traditions.
