DJ Sudan of Hami Nepal appeals for #NepalForTurkey Campaign

A 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck Turkey on February 6th, killing thousands of people (34000 approx. as of Feb 13th data). Even though the rescue effort has already begun, many people remain homeless, and the recent weather hasn’t helped: there have been reports of snowfall and rain in several parts of Turkey.

#NepalForTurkey is a movement started by DJ Sudan Gurung, the founder and president of the nonprofit organization Hami Nepal. For the purpose of collecting jackets for the people of Turkey, the group has designated various drop off locations. If necessary, financial donations are also welcome. The donation totals are openly shown on their official websites, and they will also be utilized to purchase clothing and other emergency supplies. Additionally, one can contribute to airlifting via their bank and e-sewa accounts.

One of the first nations to donate aid amid the 2015 Nepal earthquake was Turkey. Hami Nepal, who actively assisted several people following the earthquake in Nepal, aims to also assist earthquake victims in Turkey.

Together a lot can be done, small steps into a bigger picture.
