Kashis Limbu Is The Buzz Nepal’s Model Of The Month
In a world shaped by visuals, filters, and fast comparisons, Kashis Limbu stands out not by trying to fit into a mold, but by refusing to be confined by one. Known to many through Instagram, Kashis is still in the process of defining herself and she’s comfortable with that.
“I don’t see myself as just one thing,” she shares. “Outside Instagram, I’m someone who’s curious, learning, and constantly growing.”
For Kashis, growth, discipline, and self-expression are not trends, they are values. Whether she’s exploring fashion, communication, or simply understanding herself better, she approaches every experience with intention, staying grounded beyond the camera.

From Curiosity to Confidence
Modeling wasn’t something Kashis planned as a lifelong career. It started simply with curiosity.
“I never approached modeling as a fixed path,” she explains. “Over time, through shoots and runway work, I realized it’s not just about looking good. It’s about effort, confidence, and storytelling.”
What kept her going wasn’t the spotlight, but the process itself. Modeling became a space for experimentation, self-discovery, and learning, a place where she could build confidence without being pressured to define herself by a single title.
Learning Through the Lens
Her first professional shoot is still vivid in her memory; exciting, nerve-wracking, and deeply educational.

“I was still learning how to move, pose, and understand direction,” Kashis recalls. “But it taught me a lot about professionalism and teamwork.”
That early experience encouraged her to stay open to learning, a mindset that continues to shape her journey today.
Modeling as Storytelling
To Kashis, modeling goes far beyond fashion.
“It’s a form of self-expression,” she says. “Every shoot carries a mood, a message, or an idea.”
She sees modeling as a way to communicate without words, using energy, emotion, and presence to bring creative concepts to life. Each project allows her to explore different sides of herself, stepping into something new every time she’s in front of the camera.
Facing Challenges, Choosing Growth

Like many in the industry, Kashis has faced self-doubt, comparison, and uncertainty, challenges amplified in a visually demanding space.
“The biggest challenge has been managing expectations, from others and from myself,” she admits.
Instead of conforming, she chose resilience. Over time, she learned that growth doesn’t come from fitting in, but from staying honest, adaptable, and patient with her own journey.
Navigating Pressure in a Visual World
In an industry driven by appearances, pressure is unavoidable. Kashis deals with it by shifting her focus inward.
“I remind myself that everyone’s journey is different,” she says. “I focus on learning and consistency, not comparison.”
She welcomes constructive criticism as a tool for improvement, while letting go of what doesn’t serve her growth. “I’m not here to compete,” she adds. “I’m here to learn.”
By choosing curiosity over validation, she finds balance and peace.
Choosing the Right Collaborations

When it comes to working with brands and creative teams, Kashis values more than aesthetics.
“Mutual respect, clear communication, and creative openness matter to me,” she explains.
She’s especially proud of projects where she’s been trusted to contribute creatively beyond modeling, whether through styling ideas or concept discussions. Those moments, she says, make the work feel more meaningful and intentional.
Where do you see yourself in the next few years?
Kashis doesn’t believe in placing herself inside a fixed box.
“In the next few years, I see myself exploring different paths, learning new skills, and evolving,” she says.
Whether it’s modeling, fashion styling, or other creative directions, her goal is simple: to do work that feels honest, challenging, and true, while building independence and long-term stability.

A Message to Aspiring Young Models in Nepal
For young girls in Nepal dreaming of modeling, Kashis offers grounded advice: “Believe in yourself and be patient. You don’t need to have everything figured out.”
She emphasizes consistency, self-respect, curiosity, and trusting one’s own pace over chasing perfection. “Your journey is yours,” she says. “Grow into it.”
Kashis Limbu represents a new generation of creatives, ones who aren’t rushing to define themselves, but are choosing to grow intentionally, one experience at a time. And perhaps that’s what makes her story resonate: she’s not just becoming a model, she’s becoming herself.
