Kathmandu came alive with movement, music, and emotion on 20th March 2026 as Natya Utsav 3.0 – Tribute Dance Showcase paid homage to the soulful music of Sujan Chapagain.

Organized by Bellydance Nepal and spearheaded by its founder Pinky Sapkota, the event brought together a diverse group of performers who transformed Chapagain’s melodies into captivating visual storytelling through dance.

The showcase featured an eclectic mix of dance styles, from belly dance and semi-classical to salsa and Kauda, weaving contemporary and cultural expressions into a seamless performance. Each act reflected deep emotion, narrative creativity, and a unique interpretation of the music, offering the audience a rich, immersive experience.

Natya Utsav 3.0 is more than a performance; it’s a celebration of the bond between music and movement. This event gives dancers a meaningful platform to express artistry while honoring the inspiring work of Sujan Chapagain.
