Né Nepal is Bringing Nepali Craft Back Into Everyday Life
Ne Nepal is co-founded by Ishu and Tulja, friends-turned-entrepreneurs shaped by the craft-rich neighborhoods they grew up in. Ishu leads design and storytelling, drawing from Nepal’s rituals and everyday warmth, while Tulja steers finance and sales to keep the brand steady and growing.
Born from a concern over the fading of artisanal skills amid rising migration, Ne Nepal bridges traditional techniques with modern, everyday products. Today, they work with 140+ artisans to craft jewelry, candles, incense, and tableware, standing for thoughtful design, quality, and Nepali craft made relevant to the world.

Blending Tradition with Modern Design
The brand transforms heritage into products for everyday use, combining traditional motifs with clean, contemporary silhouettes. Jewelry, candles, incense, tableware, and wellness items carry the essence of Nepal while appealing to both local and international audiences. Every piece is accompanied by story cards that credit the artisan and inspiration behind it, connecting customers with the craft and culture of Nepal.

Fair Collaboration and Quality
The brand works under a strict no-bargain policy, ensuring artisans receive fair, consistent pay. Steady orders and on-time payments have helped many artisans grow their income, while a three-step quality control process, from workshop to stock room to store, guarantees that every piece meets Ne Nepal’s high standards. Ethical sourcing, safer workspaces, and small-batch production further reinforce the brand’s commitment to responsibility and dignity.

Sustainability as Practice
Sustainability is embedded in every aspect of the brand’s operations. Durable brass, handmade lokta paper, plant-based waxes, and minimal packaging reduce environmental impact, while refillable and repairable products extend product life. The brand prioritizes progress over perfection, continually improving materials, processes, and packaging to balance design, function, and responsibility.
Vision and Growth
Over the next 3–5 years, the founders plan to expand the brand globally, starting with a stronger US presence through trade shows, wholesale partners, and a dedicated US entity, while growing selectively in Nepal with new retail locations and enriched in-store storytelling. They aim to bring more production in-house, strengthen quality control, and continue designing along two lanes: heritage-led motifs and modern silhouettes, supported by improved finishes and refill/repair options. Impact scales with every sale through fair pay, steady orders, training programs, and transparent annual metrics.
