Nepali IOE Students Develop Electric Bike with Impressive Range
A group of talented students from the Institute of Engineering (IOE), specializing in automobile engineering, have achieved a remarkable feat. They have successfully designed and constructed an electric motorcycle that boasts an impressive range of 70 to 80 kilometers on a single charge. What sets this bike apart is its incorporation of regenerative braking technology, which enhances its energy efficiency.
The students are optimistic about the potential for mass production of this innovative electric bike. They estimate that if produced on a larger scale, it could be available in the market at an affordable price of approximately Rs. 2.5 lakh. This breakthrough has generated excitement among both enthusiasts of electric vehicles and those interested in sustainable transportation options.

The achievements of these Nepali students showcase their exceptional talent and dedication to pushing the boundaries of engineering. With their groundbreaking creation, they contribute to the advancement of electric mobility in Nepal. Their accomplishment serves as an inspiration to others in the field, demonstrating the remarkable potential of Nepali talent in driving technological innovation.
