The trailer of the upcoming Nepali filmRammita Koo Pirati” was officially unveiled today, offering a powerful glimpse into a story that goes far beyond a conventional love narrative. The launch event brought together the film’s core team and cast, including Anna Sharma, Dhiraj Magar, Samir Shrestha, and Vinay Shrestha, who shared candid insights into the making of this much-anticipated project.

Produced by Sagar Lamsal and written and directed by Sudepta, with Sijen Sapkota as co-writer, Rammita Koo Pirati positions itself as an emotionally layered, female-driven film. Addressing the audience at the event, director Sudepta was clear about the film’s core theme, emphasizing that it is not a typical romance.

Rammita Koo Pirati is not a romance story. It is about a girl’s trauma, rebound, and solution. This movie is about the phases that a girl has to go through after her breakup,” she shared.

The trailer reflects this vision, hinting at emotional vulnerability, personal healing, and self-discovery, with Anna Sharma taking center stage in what she describes as a deeply transformative role. Anna revealed that the project demanded long-term emotional and creative commitment from her.

It has been more than one year that I have been working on this project. This was my first time doing a female-oriented film,” she said, adding that she spent nearly six months closely collaborating with director Sudepta to fully develop and internalize her character.

Anna also shared that producer Sagar Lamsal entrusted her with additional responsibility behind the scenes.

Our producer Sagar Lamsal also gave me the responsibility as an executive producer,” she noted, marking an important milestone in her career.

The film also marks the acting debut of Samir Shrestha, who expressed gratitude for the supportive environment he experienced on set. “I got a nice team and it is my first movie. Anna had guided me a lot during the shoot,” he said.

Meanwhile, actor Dhiraj Magar revealed that the trailer launch was his first time watching the final cut as well. Experiencing it alongside the audience made the moment even more special for him.

To be honest, I am so proud to be part of this project,” he shared, adding that despite being in the same industry for years, this was his first time collaborating with Anna Sharma on a film.

Dhiraj also spoke lightheartedly about his character’s appearance, admitting he was initially unsure about experimenting with a deadlock hairstyle for the role.

With its emotionally grounded premise, strong female perspective, and committed performances, Rammita Koo Pirati is shaping up to be a film that resonates with audiences looking for substance beyond surface-level romance. The trailer launch has successfully set the tone for what promises to be a thoughtful and impactful cinematic experience. The movie is set to be officially released on February 6, 2026.
