“Rangeli” is one of the top gangster movies produced this year in Nepal that derives the complexities of life in the underworld of social and systematic challenges. The intense action sequence, drama, amazing script writing and outstanding performance offers Nepali fans a gripping crime thriller movie. 

The narrative follows the journey of Vijay, portrayed by Dayahang Rai. And his friend as they navigate the harsh realities of their environment in Rangeli. Their struggles reflect larger themes of resilience, survival, and the allure of power within a corrupt system. Vijay’s decision to embrace a life of crime to control over his circumstances adds layers to his character and drives the plot forward with tension and suspense.

Miruna Magar represents the character Junkiri. In the film she appears as Dayahang Rai’s love interest. Her chemistry with Dayahang is enjoyable to watch on the big screen. She starts off as peaceful and calm, but as the film develops she becomes involved in the gangster world.  Her fans were surprised and thrilled when her tough character evolved in wrath and ferocity on the screen. 

 The introduction of the character of Arpan Thapa, portraying Bhagwan Dada plays an evil figure by showing terror in public. As a sinister figure involved in illegal activities, including the trafficking of weapons and drugs, through his criminal connections. His presence serves to underscore the complexities of the socio-political landscape depicted in the film.

The film appears to explore themes of struggle, resilience, and the allure of power within a corrupt system. Vijay’s decision to embrace a life of crime to gain control over his circumstances adds layers to his character and likely drives the plot forward with tension and suspense.
