Samsung Launches Insta Finance: 0% Interest for Smartphone Upgrades in Nepal

Samsung has launched a new affordability program called Insta Finance, in collaboration with Hulas Fin Serve (HFL), to help consumers in Nepal purchase smartphones priced above NPR 25K. The program offers a 0% interest rate financing facility, aiming to promote financial inclusion and enable people to buy their desired smartphones with ease. In today’s digital age, smartphones have become a necessity, and there is a growing demand for better devices. However, many people are limited by their budget when it comes to upgrading. Recognizing this trend, Samsung Nepal has introduced Insta Finance, a hassle-free and instant financing solution with 0% interest on EMI payments.
Samsung’s focus is on understanding and meeting consumer needs, and Insta Finance is a prime example of their consumer-centric innovation. Pranaya Ratna Sthapit, Director of Samsung Nepal, believes that this initiative will allow consumers to effortlessly upgrade to Samsung’s cutting-edge technology. Initially, Insta Finance will be available in over 200 stores across major markets in Nepal, with plans for expansion in the near future. This program aims to make Samsung devices more affordable and accessible, offering consumers the opportunity to upgrade to a better smartphone experience with convenient monthly installments and zero interest.
The process of applying for Insta Finance is straightforward and does not require a credit card. Consumers can obtain an instant loan by following a few simple steps. They need to visit a store offering Insta Finance, submit the necessary documents (such as citizenship cards, photos, and income proof), undergo backend verification, and sign the legal agreements. Once approved, they can choose their desired smartphone and take it home.
Samsung’s Insta Finance program benefits both consumers and smartphone retailers. Consumers gain easy access to financing, allowing them to purchase or upgrade to their preferred smartphones at a minimal cost. On the other hand, sellers can generate more revenue by upselling consumers on higher-end devices. Overall, it creates a win-win situation for all parties involved.
