Things to Do When You Are Alone

Stay unproductive! Not all days are meant to constantly feel anxious and like you have to conquer the world. Some days are meant to take a pause and sit with your sadness and do random things. Here are 5 things that you can do when you are bored and alone.

Make paper stars

You are the creator of your own galaxy. So fold the papers into stars and just dissociate. By the time you will come into senses, you will have a jar full of paper stars to be used…nowhere.

Make doodles

Just let your pen wander. Draw patterns, faces, straight lines, zigzag lines, a funny little guy, or literally anything. Make people concerned about you. Because it is your world and we just live in it.

Practice different expressions

This will come in handy if you either cannot control your facial expressions or show emotions on your face. Try looking extremely surprised, suspicious, heartbroken, or even evil. Look in the mirror, stare at yourself and fall in love with how beautiful you look.

Create a fake scenario

You can take practicing different expressions to another level by pretending you are in a drama show and work on your dialogue deliveries. Add dialogues like, “You have betrayed me for the last time. I just wanted love”. You are then prepared for your next argument with your boyfriend. Thank me later!

Stare at the ceiling

The peak do-nothing activity. Dissociate, dwell on that one embarrassing thing you did 7 years ago, question reality, drool, exist. Just don’t call your ex!

Not every day has to be about productivity. Some days are just for existing, doing little things, and letting yourself feel whatever you need to feel. And if you take a deeper look, all these activities are beneficial as it helps you be good at arguments, act well, make crafts, and take the pause you need for a fresh start.
