Kathmandu Marriott Hotel Marks 7 Years of Excellence in Operations
Kathmandu, Nepal – Kathmandu Marriott Hotel celebrated its seventh anniversary on 28 April 2026 with an evening event at the property, bringing together a distinguished gathering of ambassadors, hospitality professionals, and representatives from Nepal’s travel and tourism sector. Among the guests was Subani Ale Magar, Chairperson of Prisoners Assistance Nepal, alongsideMarriottproperty dignitaries from around the world and prominent figures from the travel and tourism industry.

The evening’s program struck a balance between cultural expression and contemporary entertainment. Performances included a ballet and a traditionalNewari culturaldance, reflecting both global and local artistic traditions. Nepali band Kanta Dabdab rounded out the entertainment with a live musical set. The event concluded with a selection of appetizers and a diverse dinner spread prepared by the hotel’s in-house culinary team, highlighting the property’s focus on quality dining and presentation.

Running concurrently with the anniversary celebrations, the hotel’s signature restaurant Thamel Kitchen is hostingRajasthani Rasoi, a limited-time culinary promotion from 24 April to 2 May 2026. The showcase brings the flavors of Rajasthan, India to Kathmandu, led by guest chef Mohabbat Singh of Marriott Udaipur. The promotion adds an additional dimension to the hotel’s gastronomic program during this period.
The anniversary was held under the theme “7 Years of Hospitality,” reflecting on the hotel’s growth, guest relationships, and contributions to Kathmandu’shospitalitylandscape since opening in 2019.
