Bhaktapuris preparing for another evening of live music as Madhyapur Music Festival 2 returns on June 5, bringing together a lineup of artists and bands for a one-night event in Kausaltar.

Organized by Triumph Events and presented by Xtreme Energy Drink, the festival will take place at White Palace Banquet Ground and is expected to draw music enthusiasts from across the Kathmandu Valley.

This year’s edition features performances by John and The Locals,Rockheads, The Genesis, and The Pirates, offering audiences a mix of rock, alternative, and contemporary Nepali music. The event is also expected to feature singer Jai Pradhan, adding another familiar name to the lineup.

Over the past few years, live music events have continued to gain momentum throughout the Valley, with audiences increasingly embracing festival-style experiences that bring multiple artists together on a single stage. Events such as Madhyapur Music Festival have become part of that growing culture, providing a platform for both established acts and emerging performers while creating opportunities for fans to experience live music beyond traditional concert venues.

The second edition of the festival follows the success of its inaugural event and arrives at a time when Nepal’s live music scene continues to expand. Scheduled for Friday, June 5, gates for Madhyapur Music Festival 2 will open at 3:00 PM. With multiple acts set to take the stage throughout the evening, organizers are promising a night of music, energy, and entertainment for attendees.

As the countdown enters its final days, anticipation is building for what is shaping up to be one of Bhaktapur’s notable music events of the season.
