Deepesh Chhetri lifts the trophy of Crossmandu National Championship 2023

On Saturday, 18th March, three days long Crossmandu National Championship 2023 was completed, announcing their three winners. Crossmandu is a dirt bike race platform for the 250cc Pro Stock dirt bikes in the Open Category, and only NASA racing license holders are permitted to compete in the championship event.

The preliminary rounds included 17 riders from throughout the country, with just 12 qualifying for the final race on March 18, 2023. The top three contenders were chosen as winners in the intense 30-lap race on the 830-meter dirt track.

Deepesh Chhetri won the Crossmandu National Championship title and received Rs. 150,000 in cash, followed by Bhim Hona and Rajkumar Karki, who received Rs. 75,000 and Rs. 50,000, and became the first and second runners up respectively.

The Crossmandu Championship 2023 was started on 16 March with the practice day of the riders and the qualifying races were on 17th March. This championship was jointly organized by Mhangas Creation and Dirt Temple, the first and only Motocross track in Nepal. Not only that the championship also featured the live performance from Pariwartan Band, and Saned Band, with a thrilling stunt show from Hidden Action, and many more.
