The film ‘Mayavi’ directed and written by Diwakar Bhattarai has successfully completed its shooting, with cinematography capturing scenic locations in Mustang and Pokhara during the two phases of production over approximately two months. The production team expressed joy by cutting a celebratory cake on the occasion of completing the film’s cinematography.

The film features a prominent cast, including Paul Shah, Deepika Prasain, Sushil Sitaula, Samim Khan, Karishma Shrestha, Prashant Tamrakar, Laxmi Giri, Rabi Dongol, Rajaram Paudel, Anshu Maharjan, Rama Prasain, and more. The lead actors, along with the technical crew, clapped for the film on Saturday morning.

Director Bhattarai is enthusiastic about the film and believes it holds special significance for him, offering a unique career elevation for lead actor Paul Shah. With the completion of cinematography, the director is motivated to bring a fresh perspective to the audience.

The film, shot in Mustang and Pokhara, has Raj Katuwal and Chandra Pant as the producers. Raju Parajuli, Rama Prasain, and Nabnita Jha serve as co-producers, while Pravin Bhattarai and Karan Singh are executive producers. The film is expected to bring new heights to actor Pal Shah’s career and is anticipated to release after post-production work. The creative team includes Raju Thapa as DOP, SD Yogi for music, and Ram Aviral for lyrics. The film is under the banner of Creative Cine Arts, with Raj Kumar Karki as the line producer. Although the release date has yet to be confirmed, ‘Mayavi’ promises to showcase the beauty of Pokhara while delivering a captivating story.
