HattiHatti Nepal and Kathmandu Marriott Hotels, Hosts SHEpreneur Award 2026: Celebrating Women Entrepreneurs Across Provinces

Kathmandu, April 18, 2026 — HattiHatti Nepal successfully hosted its third annual flagship
event, SHEpreneur Award 2026, at Kathmandu Marriott Hotel, Naxal, bringing together
inspiring women entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and supporters of sustainable and
inclusive enterprise.

The event was organized in two segments: the SHEpreneur Award Ceremony, recognizing
outstanding women entrepreneurs from across Nepal’s provinces, and the Nepali New Year
Market, a vibrant celebration of local products, creativity, and community
entrepreneurship.

The award ceremony honored six remarkable women entrepreneurs representing different
provinces of Nepal, acknowledging their contribution to social entrepreneurship,
community empowerment, and sustainable impact.

The awardees included:

  • Madhu Maya Gurung, Chitwan, Bagmati Province
  • Sita Kunwar, Lumbini Province
  • Prakriti Rijal, Sudurpashchim Province
  • Rukma Chalaune, Karnali Province
  • Prakriti Mainali, Kathmandu, Bagmati Province

The event was graced by Chief Guest Sunita Dangol, Acting Mayor of Kathmandu
Metropolitan City, who highlighted the importance of empowering women at the provincial
level to strengthen local economies. The Guest of Honor, renowned actor Niruta Singh,
inspired the audience with her reflections on women’s leadership and resilience across
industries.

In collaboration with Kathmandu Marriott Hotel, Naxal, the event provided a platform not
only for recognition but also for connection, learning, and market access. The Nepali New
Year Market featured a diverse range of women-led enterprises, showcasing locally made,
sustainable, and innovative products.

entrepreneurs, particularly from marginalized communities, by creating platforms that
