Jetshen Dohna Lama lifts the trophy of “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs Season 9”
On Sunday, January 22, Zee TV’s renowned singing reality show “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs Season 9″ crowned its winner. Nine-year-old Jetshen Dohna Lama from Pakyong, Sikkim, who is noted for her unique vocal style, won the coveted trophy and a monetary reward of Rs 10 lakh. She beat Harsh Sikandar and Dhyaneshwari Gadage to become the winner of the “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs Season 9”.
She started singing at the age of three and has been praised by every judge, jury member, and celebrity guests for her powerful performances throughout the season. She was even nicknamed ‘Mini Sunidhi Chauhan’ by the judge Shankar Mahadevan. Special guest Jackie Shroff, a prominent Bollywood actor, bowed down after her jaw-dropping performance on two songs, ‘Roop Tera Mastana’ and ‘Batdmeez Dil”. The judges carried her up on their arms and held her like she was a butterfly. The young girl has also impressed the Sikkim Chief Minister as well as boxing champion Mary Kom, who both tweeted their appreciation on social media.
She stated that she would like to collaborate with Sunidhi Chauhan in the future, and sing for every actor. She also shared that her parents have always encouraged her to pursue her dreams and want her to succeed in her goal. Similarly, numerous well-known singers, actors, comedians, and celebrities congratulated her on winning the show.
