Nepal’s Furniture Expo 2023: A Preview
Kathmandu is set to host the eagerly awaited ninth edition of the Furniture and Furnishing Expo 2023, scheduled to run from September 27 to October 1. Organized by the Nepal Furniture and Furnishing Association (NFFA), this annual event is a significant highlight on the country’s business calendar.
With over 100 stalls featuring wholesalers, producers, importers, distributors, and more, the expo aims to create a one-stop destination for all things related to furniture and furnishing. This comprehensive showcase underscores the commitment of the NFFA to boost Nepal’s domestic furniture market and promote locally produced goods.
Dinesh Agrawal, Chairman of the NFFA, expressed confidence in the expo’s potential to stimulate economic activity in a period when the nation’s economy faces challenges. The expo’s mission is clear: to unite all aspects of the furniture and furnishing sector, making it more accessible to both national and international audiences.

Nikunj Agrawal, the expo’s coordinator, highlighted its focus on furniture, furnishing materials, manufacturers, machinery, technology transfer, and interior design.
