The wait is almost over! The much-anticipated sequel to the horror-comedy hit “Stree” is set to hit theaters on India’s Independence Day, August 15, 2024. Now get ready to scream, laugh, and cover your eyes! Will it be scarier and funnier than the first one?

The film is directed by the talented Amar Kaushik and stars the dynamic duo of Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, who return for another crazy ride filled with ghosts, jokes, and surprises.

The movie picks up where it left off and brings the beloved characters back to the small town of Chanderi. This time, the group faces a new supernatural threat known as “Sarkata,” which is inspired by the folklore of a headless ghost searching for its head. The plot promises more laughs and thrills as it follows Vicky (played by Rajkummar Rao) and his friends as they attempt to solve the mystery and protect their town from this new threat, Sarkata.

Fans will be delighted to see the return of Pankaj Tripathi as the wise Rudra, Aparshakti Khurana as the loyal Bittu, and Abhishek Banerjee as the comical Jana. Shraddha Kapoor returns to her mysterious role, adding a layer of suspense to the storyline. In addition, Tamannaah Bhatia joins the cast, making a special appearance as “Shama,” a character that promises to play a major role in the unfolding drama​.
