YogSama Studio: Where Women Come To Breathe | The Buzz Nepal June 2026 Feature
YogSama Studio did not begin with a business plan. It began with a woman searching for something to hold onto.
When the COVID-19 pandemic brought the world to a standstill, founder Kriti Ghimire turned to yoga not as a career move but as a lifeline. Struggling with hermental health, she pursued her certification purely to go deeper into her own practice and understand the ancient discipline from the inside out. What she found changed everything.
That personal transformation became the foundation of something larger. If this practice held such power, Kriti felt it deserved to be shared, not as aperformanceof wellness, but as a genuine invitation for women to experience the deeper layers of who they are. And so, YogSama was born.

A Room Where No Role Is Required
What sets YogSama apart is its unwavering dedication to women. In a world where women are constantly asked to be everything to everyone, daughter, mother, partner, professional, YogSama offers something quietly radical: a room where none of thoserolesare required.
What YogSama Offers
The studio’s offerings are thoughtfully curated around the full spectrum of a woman’s life. Hatha Yoga forms the foundation, a mindful, all-levelspracticebuilt for deep presence. Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga with Garbhasanskara supports women through every stage of motherhood, weaving ancient practices of connecting with the child through asana and mantra. Sound Meditation sessions quiet the nervous system and guide the mind inward. And then there is the Women’s Circle, perhaps the most intimate offering of all: a gathering where women consciously set aside every title they carry outside the studio and simply exist together without fear of judgement.

“It is simply about coming together in a space that is genuinely safe, genuinely welcoming, and genuinely transformative, without the pressure of being perfect or healed.”
The Vision
Kriti received her teaching certifications during a stay in Rishikesh, where she credits the people and interactions as much as any formal training. Now, over a year and a half into guiding YogSama, her vision remains unchanged.
YogSama Studio is where ancientknowledgemeets the very real, very present needs of women navigating complex lives. Where every woman who walks through the door is reminded, through breath, movement, and community, that she is already whole.
