For her second performance, Heated Rivalry star Connor Storrie introduced Rodrigo’s rendition of begged, a previously unreleased ballad from her forthcoming album You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love. The song, still unheard by the public before that night, gave the audience their first real taste of where the album is headed emotionally, and early reactions suggest it landed exactly as intended.
