“Bad Newz” Now in Theaters

The wait is over! The highly anticipated comedy “Bad Newz” hits the theaters today, July 19th, 2024 all over Nepal. The movie is directed by Anand Tiwari and produced by Dharma Productions. Likewise, the film promises a hilarious exploration of love, parenthood, and a truly unique twist.

The film stars Vicky Kaushal, Tripti Dimri, and Ammy Virk. This comedic film revolves around an unusual and humorous situation involving heteropaternal superfecundation, where a woman’s twin pregnancies are fathered by two different men, leading to a series of comedic and dramatic events.

“Bad Newz” is not a sequel to the 2019 hit “Good Newwz,” but it does share the theme of unconventional parenthood. This time, however, the focus is on a comedic exploration of the three main characters grappling with the situation. Moreover, the film has a runtime of 2 hours and 22 minutes and has been rated U/A by the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification), India.

The early reports suggest a promising start. The film’s first song, “Tauba Tauba,” has already become a chartbuster, and critics are praising the lighthearted tone and the strong performances by the lead Vicky Kaushal.

“Bad Newz” is destined for summer success thanks to its realistic premise and a cast with impeccable comedic timing. So, grab your popcorn and head to the theaters for a dose of laughter and heartwarming chaos. For those unable to catch it in theaters, the film is expected to release on Amazon Prime Video in a couple of months.
