Jamkabhet Returns- Nepal’s Top Urban Culture Festival!

After a groundbreaking debut on December 25, 2022, Jamkabhet is back for an even bigger and better edition, celebrating the raw energy, creativity, and resilience of Nepal’s youth. This dynamic festival serves as a hub for enthusiasts of BMX, skateboarding, breakdancing, hardcore music, and hip-hop, bringing together some of the most passionate talents in the scene.

Founded by Sumit K.C., the visionary behind BMX Nepal and Bicycle Motocross Nepal, Jamkabhet has evolved into a powerful platform for self-expression, connection, and artistic growth. The event is designed to provide young people with an opportunity to showcase their skills, embrace their individuality, and foster a strong sense of community and belonging.

“Jamkabhet is more than just an event; it’s a movement that empowers youth, encourages artistic expression, and unites diverse subcultures under one roof,” says Sumit K.C.

This year’s festival promises an electrifying experience with thrilling BMX stunts, high-energy skateboarding sessions, adrenaline-pumping breakdance battles, and performances from some of the most influential figures in Nepal’s hardcore and hip-hop music scene. Attendees can expect an unforgettable day filled with creativity, camaraderie, and inspiration.

Jamkabhet empowers young people involved in urban subcultures by providing them with a space to explore art, music, and sports. The festival aims to inspire youth to pursue their passions and connect with others who share their love for urban culture. It is rapidly gaining recognition in Nepal and attracting participants from across the country and beyond.

In an era where young people spend much of their time on their phones, Jamkabhet encourages them to stay active and embrace creativity. The event promotes positive engagement, personal growth, and meaningful real-life connections. By stepping away from their screens, participants can immerse themselves in the vibrant and dynamic world of urban culture.

Jamkabhet believes in community, working together, empowerment, being real, and creativity.  They create welcoming spaces where people can share their passions, work together, and show what they can do.  By creating real experiences that stay true to the culture, Jamkabhet has become more than just an event – it’s a movement.

The Jamkabhet team includes professionals, artists, and fans with skills in skateboarding, BMX, street art, and music. They work with supporters, influencers, and new talent to make sure the events are open to everyone, diverse, and empowering.  Their love for street culture drives them to support both established and up-and-coming artists, creating a place that celebrates creativity and being real.

Jamkabhet inspires young people to be themselves, celebrate differences, and push the limits of art. It’s about building a community that connects people, helps them achieve their dreams, and makes a positive difference through street culture.

So, mark your calendars! Happening on February 21-22, 2025, at the Skate park Tokha, 12 pm onward. Don’t miss out!
