The upcoming Hollywood biographical musical drama Michael is officially set to hit theatres on April 24, 2026, with Apple Entertainment handling its distribution in Nepal.
Directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by John Logan, Michael tells the story of global music icon Michael Jackson, tracing his journey from his early days with the Jackson 5 to becoming one of the most influential performers in music history. The film also explores his rise to superstardom, creative genius, and the personal and public pressures that shaped his life.
In a bold casting choice, Jackson is portrayed by his real-life nephew Jaafar Jackson, marking his acting debut. The film also features an ensemble cast including Colman Domingo as Joe Jackson, Nia Long as Katherine Jackson, Miles Teller, Kat Graham, and Laura Harrier, among others.
