This August, Spice Room, the iconic Indian fine dine restaurant at Hotel Yak & Yeti, invites food lovers on a flavorful journey like no other with “The Great Indian Biryani Trail” and the lively “Chit Chaat” festival. Designed to delight every palate, this grand culinary celebration brings together the royal elegance of India’s most famous biryanis and the vibrant energy of its beloved street food culture, offering Kathmandu’s food scene something truly unique.

From 13th to 31st August, guests will embark on a royal voyage through India’s most celebrated biryani traditions. Each dish has been meticulously crafted by their master chefs to reflect its regional heritage from the fragrant, saffron-kissed delicacy of Kolkata, to the bold, spice-layered magic of Hyderabad, and the regal dum pukht artistry of Awadh, highlighting an immersion into centuries-old culinary craftsmanship.

Adding to the grandeur, every Friday and Saturday from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Spice Room will host “Chit Chaat”, a vibrant street food celebration offering a medley of sweet, tangy, and spicy chaats. This colorful, flavor-packed experience is designed to transport guests straight to the bustling streets of India, but with the elegance and service of a five-star dining venue.
