Manisha Maharjan Joins International Film Project Nutopia

Manisha Maharjan is making her mark on the global stage as one of nine lead participants in Nutopia, an international film project by Italian singer-songwriter Giovanni Caccamo. The film, The Ark of Change, also features Hollywood actor Willem Dafoe, widely known for his role as the Green Goblin in Spider-Man.
The project follows a historic voyage from Africa to South America aboard a three-masted sailing ship. Manisha represents Nepal as one of the world’s top spinning artists, contributing her unique talent to a story that explores urgent global themes such as human rights, climate change, gender equality, mental health, and youth empowerment.
Directed by an Oscar-winning filmmaker, Nutopia is set to premiere at international film festivals in 2026–2027, combining cinematic storytelling with a symbolic expedition connecting continents, generations, and critical global conversations.
